This year the Sertoma Arts Center hosted The Falls Art Fair on September 7, 2013. The event was surrounded with splashes of color and artists who showcased their unique pieces. It was a family friendly event that had a strong sense of community. There was live music, food trucks, and a pottery demonstration. Vendors from around the area brought pottery, paintings, jewelry, and there was even a lady who created cards and bookmarks with cardstock and pressed flowers. I enjoyed the ingenuity and originality of the pieces.
I love color so these pieces caught my eye.
This cute little owl was turned into a necklace.
Even sewing skills had its place at the event.

Of course this is one of my favorite pieces he made because of the butterflies!

Here is one of her pieces. More butterflies!
I really loved these creations done by Lynne. I like how the artwork is put on fabric to create one of a kind pillows, purses, and more. From pottery to paintings is was a wonderful afternoon outing.
